Backstory

How did we get here? Well at some point he'd had enough, and Rich Garrahan decided to ditch his suit and tie to build his own little slice of heaven.  Rich envisioned a place where his worries were left at the door. He wanted what a lot of us want at one time or another: He wanted an escape. For him, that means a big backyard with tons of yard games, plenty of homemade craft beer, and a never-ending cookout where the burgers are as good as the conversation.

This beery utopia also needed to be a place our people (laid back people that take as much joy in hosting as they do in getting the most out of life) would love to work for and be proud to show off. Seven years later, we have three such slices of heaven dedicated to crafting great brews and tasty food in a spot that was made to connect and unwind.

Our Own Backyards

Lewes, DE  - est. 2015

The original Hammock hosts a 7 barrel system and pilots a lot of our Locals Only brews. LWS is the home of our 302 Beer Drinkers Choice Awards that we hold every year and invite every single Delaware brewery to attend.

Middletown, DE  - est. 2019

Our second spot boasts a 15 barrel brewhouse and makes many of our seasonal beers and Seeker Series recipes. Designed with our love of yard games fully realized: two bocce courts, two horseshoe pits, 7 corn hole sets, and  something called "3 hole washers" -- MDT knows how to backyard. 

North Myrtle Beach, SC  - est. 2021

Here we have a 30 barrel system that makes seasonal brews for all locations and cranks out the year rounders, in addition to limited runs of our brewers' whimsy. Situated in Barefoot Landing, our MYR home away from home is a dip into the South and a dive into a tropical paradise with our first joint literally on the water. Come for the beer, stay for the swaying palms and bar swings.

By all accounts, we are just getting started. Watch this spot for our next adventure.
