7/3 - Freedom Fest & Amateur Hot Dog Eating Contest

Freedom and food: two things the Hammock can always get behind celebrating! 🦅 🇺🇸 We’re shaking things up this year with a Crooked AMATEUR HOT DOG EATING CONTEST at 12pm, hosted by a local favorite, Ed Piotrowski! Participants will have 10 minutes to eat as many hot dogs as they can, trying to beat out their competitors for a $200 VISA Gift Card and Hammock Swag Bag while spectators cheer them on. 🍻

For those not trying to eat 1776 hot dogs, we’ll have a limited time hot dog menu served out of our Happy Camper, conveniently right by all of the action! Happy Camper Hot Dog offerings include a Plain Dog (with ketchup, mustard, and relish packets available) and our BBQ Big Dog; a hot dog topped with pimento cheese, pulled pork, and honey bbq sauce. 🌭 Plus, we’ll have live music by Salty Dog from 2-5pm and our craft table where the kids can make patriotic friendship bracelets to create the ultimate backyard get together!
