#DOGGYTIME - we will be teaming up Nicholas Lee Guitars for Happy Hour here at The Hammock on December 22nd to help raise money for the Brandywine Valley SPCA and the 14 dogs who were recently rescued from what may be "the worst case of animal abuse this state has ever seen."
From their GoFundMe page - Please make all donations here: https://www.gofundme.com/savethedelawarepups.
"Nicholas Lee will be giving away 14 guitars; one for each dog. On Christmas Day he will draw 14 names, streaming live, and the instruments will be presented to the winners after the new year.
For every $10 dollar pledge, donated to the go fund me page, we will enter your name in the drawing. Donate $10, get 1 entry. Donate $50, get 5. Donate $100, you'll receive 10 entries and so on. Everyone can unite here in bringing together a miracle.
Proceeds will benefit care & rehab efforts @ Brandywine Valley SPCA, the (hopeful) foster placements, Delaware Office of Animal Welfare & Educational efforts/outreach. If you have items, food or services you'd like to donate, please contact us via Facebook and or Brandywine Valley SPCA."
In October of this year, Shawn and Missy Brittingham received the worst possible news regarding their three year old daughter, Gabriella. After a number of visits to the doctors office, she was diagnosed her with a very rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer, Rhabdomyosarcoma.
Shawn, a Delaware police officer and Missy, a local teacher, are loving and caring parents to three amazing kids. Over the course of the next several months, they will be required to make many trips back and forth to AI DuPont while taking countless days off of work.
Gabriella has a long and difficult journey ahead of her as she begins her treatment. With the love, support and prayers from family, friends and the community, we are confident that Gabriella will prevail.
We are asking for the community's support in helping the Brittingham family in this time of need.
